Synthetic vinyl food processing / food handling gloves offer the best of both worlds. Flex Vinyl synthetic vinyl gloves look like latex, feel like latex and have a barrier performance equal to latex gloves. These state-of-the-art third generation vinyl gloves were developed to have all the benefits of a natural rubber latex (NRL) latex glove, without any allergic risks -- because they are latex-free! Cutting-edge proprietary formulation of stretch copolymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC) blends the soft feeling of premium leather with durability that provides a better performance, fit and comfort. Not to be confused with the traditional cheap "see-through" vinyl gloves. Synthetic vinyl food processing / food handling gloves are engineered for durability and flexibility. In terms of the material itself, they have a supple quality that makes them soft and stretchy. And the glove molds to the specific shape of your hand in response to your body temperature. Within seconds of putting them on, the gloves mold to the contour of the hand to produce a smooth, comfortable fit In fact, synthetic vinyl gloves are created using anatomically-correct molds to ensure optimum fit and comfort. They help reduce hand strain and fatigue in the palm and thumb area. They’re also designed to fit either hand and offer a firm, non-slip grip in wet or dry situations. Non-latex synthetic vinyl food processing gloves even help reduce hand fatigue by being a little looser around the cuff, allowing more air to circulate around the skin.
MEDICAL GRADE GLOVES:UniSeal® food processing / food handling gloves are manufactured in accordance with FDA specifications, U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) guidelines, and the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) for food handling, food processing and food preparations. These gloves are safe in all USDA, and Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) inspected establishments. Medical grade disposable food processing / food handling gloves are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). FDA makes sure that manufacturers of these devices meet performance criteria such as leak resistance, tear resistance, etc. The protection offered by a disposable Medical grade glove, referred to as its barrier effectiveness, is the ability of the glove to withstand viral penetration. Gloves that pass Viral Penetration Tests (ASTM1671D) provide an effective barrier against bloodborne pathogens, as mandated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
DON’T BE FOOLED - B GRADE GLOVESAlso known as off-line gloves or industrial grade gloves. They are not medical grade. These gloves are either made to not meet medical gloves standards in the first place, or they fail in pinhole rates or specifications in quality control, and are downgraded from medical grade to B grade. These gloves are usually labeled as disposable gloves and cannot be labeled as exam gloves, and do not provide barrier protection against Hazardous Materials, Toxic Chemicals, Biological Risks (known and unknown) and other pathogens.
