FACTORS THAT SHOUD BE CONSIDERED WHEN CHOOSING THE RIGHT GLOVES.
CUFF LENGTH: The cuff length of a standard disposable glove (9.5″ cuff) covers only a small area of the wrist.
Extra-length ( 12″ cuff ) gloves are essential if you have to ensure protection of the lower arm.
GRIP REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS: A textured glove surface provides a more secure grip. When working in wet or oily conditions this is particularly important. SAFECARE-GLOVES offers only Micro-Textured grip gloves.
CHEMICAL/CUT RESISTANCE: The thicker the glove material the greater the resistance to chemicals or mechanical damage.
GLOVE SIZE: Using the correct size of gloves is essential to avoid problems. Gloves that are too small bind and cause undue hand fatigue. Gloves that are too large are uncomfortable and can interfere with the precision of your grip.
Hand Size | Glove Size |
7″ | Extra Small |
8″ | Small |
9″ | Medium |
10″ | Large |
11″ | Extra Large |
12″ | Extra, Extra Large |
TO FIND YOUR SIZE:
-
Extend your hand flat.
-
With a tailor’s measuring tape, wrap it around the hand just below the knuckles and fingers, but above the thumb. This will give you an inch measurement.
-
Apply the inch measurement figure to the sizes above. If your hand measures between sizes, order the larger size.
